Job Responsibilities

  • Design and Development of AI/ML Infrastructure Solutions: You will play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-performance AI/ML infrastructure solutions that power Auradine’s cutting-edge technology. Your expertise will drive the architecture and implementation of systems that optimize AI/ML workflows, from model deployment to inference acceleration, ensuring they meet the needs of real-world applications.
  • Software Integration of AI/ML Libraries: You will develop software to seamlessly integrate widely-used AI/ML libraries (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or others) with Auradine’s AI/ML infrastructure. This includes working with frameworks, tools, and ecosystems that enable efficient AI model deployment, enhancing their interaction with Auradine’s systems for better performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Customization of Open Source AI/ML Stacks: You’ll customize and extend open-source AI/ML stacks to optimize them for use with Auradine’s infrastructure. You’ll profile performance improvements for commonly used models and ensure that our infrastructure is aligned with industry standards, offering exceptional performance and scalability for a broad range of AI/ML applications.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with both internal and external teams—including software and hardware engineers, and AI researchers—to refine and iterate over our AI/ML solutions. This will involve continuous collaboration to ensure that the solutions we develop are robust, scalable, and meet the necessary production standards.
  • Ownership of Code Quality, Performance, and Reliability: You will take full ownership of the quality and performance of the software you develop. This includes writing clean, maintainable code, rigorously testing software components, conducting thorough code reviews, and adhering to best practices for software development. Your goal will be to ensure that the solutions we deliver are highly reliable, efficient, and performant, and that they meet the standards for deployment in a production environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Go: Strong experience in at least one of these languages, computer algorithms, and data structures. Ability to write efficient, maintainable code.
  • 2+ Years of Production Software Development Experience: Proven track record in releasing and deploying software in production environments, including testing, debugging, and ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Experience with Containerized Applications (Kubernetes, Docker): Hands-on experience in developing containerized applications, ensuring scalability and their public and private cloud deployments.
  • Experience with AI/ML Frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, or MXNet): Practical knowledge of at least one major AI/ML framework for model development, optimizations, and deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Developing and Deploying Software on Multiple GPUs/TPUs/Accelerators: Experience optimizing software for multi-GPU/TPU setups, to scale AI/ML workloads across multiple accelerators for improved performance.
  • Experience with High-Performance Communication Libraries and Technologies: Familiarity with libfabric, NCCL/RCCL, RDMA, GPUDirect, SHMEM, or MPI for efficient, low-latency communication in distributed systems for scaling AI/ML workloads across multiple devices.
  • Profiling and Performance Benchmarking: Expertise in using tools like Nsight, Nvprof, or Omniperf to profile and benchmark complex software and hardware systems, optimizing performance and identifying bottlenecks in AI/ML workflows.
