As the Controller at Auradine, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing our finance and accounting functions. You will collaborate closely with our executive leadership team to safeguard company assets, provide accurate and timely financial reporting, and support our strategic financial goals. You will be hands-on in AP, AR, payroll and general ledger. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-growth organization with a strong track record of success.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership:
- Oversee the entire month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Support Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
- Implement cost allocation strategies and automation.
- Oversee maintenance of the general ledger (G/L) and chart of accounts.
- Lead fixed asset accounting and audits.
ASC-606 Revenue Reporting:
- Recalculate, restate, and report revenue figures.
- Ensure compliance with ASC-606 revenue recognition standards.
SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting:
- Prepare analysis schedules and notes for SEC filings.
- Prepare accounting memos to address technical accounting issues.
International Accounting and Coordination:
- Manage intercompany and subsidiary accounting.
- Coordinate international accounting activities.
Treasury Management:
- Oversee treasury management and maintain banking relationships.
- Ensure compliance with ASC-606 revenue recognition standards.
Audit and SOX:
- Act as the business process owner and audit contact for various audits, including financial, IRS, and state sales tax.
- Support SOX testing and documentation efforts.
Systems and Projects:
- Utilize ERP systems experience, including NetSuite, Oracle 11i, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, JD Edwards, and SAP.
- Lead Oracle integration and automation efforts.
- Develop, improve, and document processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
- More than 15 years of experience in finance and accounting in a high tech systems environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle 11i, SAP, and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel (power user), Microsoft Office, and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with internal reporting apps and reports, as well as professional training in various accounting-related tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage, guide, and mentor staff effectively.
- Experience leading mergers and acquisitions preferred.
