Job Responsibilities

  • Design and Development of drivers: You will play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-performance device drivers, SDKs, and microcodes for AI/ML infrastructure solutions that power Auradine’s cutting-edge technology. Your expertise will drive the architecture and implementation of systems that optimize AI/ML workflows, from model deployment to inference acceleration, ensuring they meet the needs of real-world applications.
  • Hardware Design Modeling and Verification: You will develop software models of the custom hardware to verify and test and hardware functionality as well as SDKs and APIs for accelerating AI/ML/HPC applications.
  • Customization of Open Source AI/ML Stacks: You’ll customize and extend open-source AI/ML stacks to optimize them for use with Auradine’s solution. You’ll profile performance improvements for commonly used models and ensure that our infrastructure is aligned with industry standards, offering exceptional performance and scalability for a broad range of AI/ML applications.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with both internal and external teams—including software and hardware engineers, and AI researchers — to refine and iterate over our innovative AI/ML solutions. This will involve continuous collaboration to ensure that the solutions we develop are robust, scalable, and meet the necessary production standards.
  • Ownership of Code Quality, Performance, and Reliability: You will take full ownership of the quality and performance of the software you develop. This includes writing clean, maintainable code, rigorously testing software components, conducting thorough code reviews, and adhering to best practices for software development. Your goal will be to ensure that the solutions we deliver are highly reliable, efficient, and performant, and that they meet the standards for deployment in a production environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Expertise in C/C++ or a similar high-performance language: Strong experience in at least one of these languages, computer algorithms, and data structures. Ability to write efficient, performance optimized, and maintainable code.
  • 2+ Years of Embedded Software Development Experience: Proven track record in releasing and deploying embedded software in production environments, including testing, debugging, and ensuring reliability and high-performance.
  • Experience with developing user-space and kernel device drivers: Hands-on experience and deep knowledge of Linux kernel, kernel drivers, Linux network drivers, and systems programming
  • Experience with developing SDKs, SAI, and APIs: Experience with developing performance optimized SDK, SAI, and APIs in compute or network / interconnect area.
  • Experience with integrating multiple layers of software stacks for exposing and utilizing the capabilities of hardware components

Preferred Qualifications

  • C-Language ASIC modeling: Experience with writing C/SystemC/Simulink model for a high performance silicon. Experience with ASIC emulator/simulator platforms for software verification and debugging.
  • Experience with software stacks used in AI/ML/HPC systems such as RDMA, RoCE, GPUDirect, GDRC, CUDA, ROCm, *CCL, Infiniband, oneAPI.
  • Profiling and Performance Benchmarking: Expertise in profiling and benchmarking embedded software and hardware systems, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing performance.

Compensation

The national pay range for our technical roles is $100,000-$500,000. The national pay range for our non-technical roles is $75,000-$470,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and aligned with Auradine’s internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
